We are seeking a creative and data minded Digital & eCommerce Manager with strong business acumen lead the transformation of our eCommerce, performance analytics, and insights across China. Core to the success of this role will be the ability bring two of the world's most identifiable bands, WD-40® Multi-Use Product and WD-40 Specialist®, to life with a digital omni strategy. This position is responsible for the analytics, reporting, data analysis needed to develop the eCommerce & HTO sales and digital marketing programs. In addition, you will lead with deep knowledge of digital & eCommerce trends in order to develop, communicate and execute successful strategy. This role will drive data and ecommerce maturity across the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Develop digital, eCommerce, and Retail channel sales strategic roadmap and supporting plans aligned with Company objectives, strategies and initiatives in collaboration with General Manager and Retail Manager. Guide and support team to execute annual plans/programs.
- Lead team to explore and develop new customers/opportunities in digital & eCommerce channel, including the emerging social commerce, live-streaming platforms etc.; design, manage and review conversion path/method, improve conversion rate.
- Leads team to achieve sales and profit goals by implementing appropriate plans, programs, promotions and pricing. Develops and approves pricing policies including quantities, terms and conditions of sale. Develops plans, policies and programs to achieve required results, maintain and grow brand equities, develop new customers/platforms and business opportunities.
- Develop, launch, review and manage new ecommerce products in collaboration with marketing and NPD team; identify potential business opportunity, build brand fortress and product portfolio in digital & eCommerce channel through category commodity sales structure analysis, platform analysis and consumer needs analysis etc.
- Develop and maintain a point-of-view of best-in-class data sets to guide the team in analysis of qualitative and quantitative data for all digital platforms, accounts, programs and trade channels with the goal of identifying and maximizing sales opportunities and minimizing identified competitive threats.
- Collaborate with General Manger and Marketing Leader, to develop 1-3 year digital and eCommerce strategies and 12-month rolling plans. Work as digital and E-Commerce expert to support the development, communication and implementation of the Wu Di Strategic vision, goals and plans to achieve EBITDA and Sales goals.
- Collaborates with Brand Marketing team on the development, creation and online implementation of specific initiatives (e.g., campaigns, promotions, new items, linking strategies, sweepstakes, etc.) to promote awareness, usage and other brand-building activities. Ensures integration between online and offline touch points.
- Lead the development of objectives, strategies and plans for Social Media marketing initiatives and engagement to support and amplify brand-building activities. Directs monitoring, creating, publishing, moderation, and engagement of all contents on all social media platforms. Directs content creation direction and leads user community management.
- Lead the development and execution of SEO/SEM strategy, guide team to develop, engage and build user community, seeks opportunities to develop relationships, and a higher level of engagement, with potential brand advocates on Forums, Discussion Boards, in Fan Club, social media etc.
- Develop, manage and report on the digital market intelligence, including study of user profile, purchase behavior, market insights, eCommerce channel and customer analysis, competitors, technology evolve trends
- Identify B2B digital channel platforms and develop strategy and implementation plan to promote brand & drive sales through marketing and digital methods
- Explore and develop digital channels, communication technology tools and platforms to build connection with industrial customers and end users, develop appropriate content to attract, educate and build relationship with them through multiple ways to increase brand exposure, awareness and usage
- Lead team to develop, plan and maintain KOL/influencers partnership, identify and establish co-branding opportunity and other relative marketing methods to promote brand and drive sales.
- Participates as a member of the global Digital & eCommerce team to advise regarding consistency and best practice globally.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- 8+/- years of digital marketing, and/or eCommerce experience in consumer-packaged goods, ideally with strong marketing/branding experience. Ecommerce selling experience is a plus.
- Experienced in digital marketing communication solutions, including web, social media, mobile, SEO/SEM, CRM, video. Successfully executed social media matrix planning, content creation, user conversion
- Strong analytical skill and data sensitive, able to abstract insights compose actionable plan from huge amount of data
- Demonstrated interpersonal and negotiating skills in a direct or indirect capacity.
- Ability to identify new business opportunity, make actions and impact stakeholders to support.
