Time flies

I have worked at WD-40 Company for two decades, but it seems like a few short years.  I guess this saying is true, “time flies when you’re having fun.”  I have grown a lot while here. Our company has corporate values that are important, and we live these values every day.  I am very proud to say that I work for WD-40 Company.

When I started at WD-40 Company as an IT intern, one of the first things that stood out to me was how everyone interacted with each other. Not only did everyone work well together but you could tell there was something deeper that created a special bond. I soon realized it started at the top with the company’s leadership. When I passed Garry in the hallway, not only did he take the time to say “hi”, but he knew my name before I was introduced. After watching Garry and others walk around the building and engage in heartfelt conversation, I realized that getting to know your coworkers was more than encouraged, it was something everyone did willingly. It’s amazing and refreshing to work in a place where you’re more than just a number but where you and your contributions are noticed and valued every day.
