Overview
As the Financial Systems and Consolidations Manager, you will serve as the key finance partner for Americas financial systems, consolidation, and management reporting. You will be responsible for supporting the Americas team in the Company's digital transformation. Your role will involve leading the development, testing, and rollout of new reporting and planning tools, providing insightful commentary and visualizations in financial summaries, and supporting ad hoc report requests. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in planning, forecasting, reporting, and analyzing department expenses and capital expenditures for the Americas segments. This position requires expertise in financial systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
This role offers the flexibility of working fully a hybrid schedule.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the Americas point person and Subject Matter Expert for financial systems, leading the transition and improvement of key Americas reports from legacy tools to the next generation of tools.
- Collaborate with the Americas team in the development, testing, and rollout of the Company's new reporting and planning tools.
- Provide training and support to Americas stakeholders in utilizing new reports and systems.
- Prepare monthly consolidated reports and summaries for the Americas, providing succinct and insightful commentary and visualizations to aid leadership's understanding of results and drivers.
- Support ad hoc report requests and provide ad hoc materials for business reviews, presentations to senior leadership, and external reporting.
- Lead the planning, forecasting, and reporting of department expenses and capital expenditures for the Americas segments, collaborating with segment Finance leads to uncover savings opportunities and maximize EBITDA.
- Manage and perform monthly consolidated internal reporting for the Americas trade bloc, including decks for Americas leadership and standardized schedules for Corporate Finance.
- Support Canada in their planning and forecasting of contribution, including the development and maintenance of forecast and budget templates.
- Serve as the Americas FP&A lead for ERP and reporting tools implementations and management, redesigning reports to meet current and future business needs and acting as a Power User to the Americas tribe.
- Lead the development and management of the Company's future planning tool, collaborating cross-functionally to design input templates and optimize planning and forecasting activities.
- Support commercial finance team members in transitioning key commercial reporting to new systems.
- Drive continuous process improvements and best practices across the finance team and assigned function, maximizing productivity by automating reports and streamlining processes.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, IT Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Ongoing professional education in finance and financial systems and tools.
- 10 or more years of combined experience in financial analysis, financial systems and/or financial consolidations.
- Experience analyzing and summarizing financial plans and results for a complex multi-country multi-brand portfolio, preferable for senior leadership and Boards.
- Experience building reports from scratch in Excel Add-in type reporting tools such as Jet Reports, as well as BI tools such as Power BI.
- Experience implementing a new ERP system preferred. D365 experience a strong plus.
- Experience implementing new financial reporting and BI tools.
- Experience implementing budgeting/planning tools.
- Experience successfully leading cross-functional projects at varying levels of impact.
- Experience as an internal consultant and educator, providing ongoing guidance and formal training for users of financial reporting tools.
- Five or more years of experience in a public company environment is preferred.
- Experience in CPG industry or the trade channels we sell into such as Retail, Industrial, Auto, Hardware, etc. is a plus.
Total Rewards
$94600 – $137700 / year plus 10% - 15% profit-sharing contribution to your retirement account. Salary is determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data
