Overview
We are seeking a creative and solution orientated National Account Manager to champion sales of our world-class brands to national grocery and drug accounts in addition to working closely with our valued broker partners. This home based role will assume the responsibility for creating and executing national sales strategies while delivering best-in-class category leadership. The success of this role depends on effective collaboration with our internal marketing and supply chain teams to achieve sales and EBITDA growth goals.
The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships and influence at all levels with the accounts and across diverse geographies. Success will be achieved through understanding our customer, consumer and channel needs in order to use insights and research, to grow our brands and revenue. This position will be responsible for accounts located in the Northeast.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Responsible for specific assigned National Account customer(s) and channels as the principal contact charged with utilizing company resources to maximize sales, distribution and profit.
- Develop key account plans of National Accounts and E-Commerce business. Under the guidance of the Director of Sales, leads the development of sales/promotion/category management plans and programs on a quarterly & annual basis to maximize the sales and profit growth. Provides accurate sales guidance to appropriate stakeholders (direct, 3rd party sales agents). Develops account specific programs in concert with Director of Sales and third-party agents such as brokers, merchandisers, IMRs, distributors, etc., ensuring they deliver on projects, contribution targets and incremental EBITDA.
- Proactively leads the development of sales/promotion/category management plans and programs on a quarterly and annual basis to maximize the sales and profit growth.
- Communicate data insights and recommendations to improve performance or execution to achieve defined goals and customer satisfaction.
- Leads sales, order and contract negotiations with assigned national accounts in order to drive sales/EBITDA results as it pertains to terms of business, selling prices, promotional support, and any approved special initiatives/projects.
- Collaborates with internal/external shareholders to develop special packs, promotion and program development opportunities in the National Account interconnected business experience strategy and identify incremental sales opportunities and profit.
- Cross functionally consultation and collaboration with E-Commerce marketing personnel, as well as Brand, Channel, and Digital teams as necessary in the attainment of essential functions.
- Manages and executes administrative functions for assigned accounts, including vendor buying agreements and general administration that will enhance overall EBITDA results.
- Utilizes syndicated channel sales data and sales/promotional history to maximize sales at assigned customers. Insures that market intelligence is received and analyzed so that sales opportunities can be maximized, and competitive threats identified.
- Communicates regularly with third party representatives to reinforce company values and direction. Establishes /monitors goals and objectives consistent with meeting company sales, profit and distribution goals.
- Responsible for selection of and participation in all trade shows and the development of promotions/ideas, where appropriate.
What You’ll Bring To The Role

- 5+ years managing national accounts (major grocery and drug preferred)
- Demonstrated experienced executing successful strategic plans across multiple trade channels
- Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch sales/growth targets
- Experience successfully selling new products and strong presentation skills
- Experience with P&L development and management with a strong commercial acumen
- Experience with ecommerce sales planning and analysis, preferred.
- Experience working with third party grocery brokers
- Current and valid driver’s license is required
