Overview
As part of the Operations Group, the Supply Chain Team are primarily responsible for ensuring stock levels are maintained, customer orders are
fulfilled and products are shipped on time and in full (OTIF), customer queries and complaints are handled in a timely manner (ideally within 48
hours) and relevant documentation and reporting is completed.
This is a co-ordination role where a high level of rigor, attention to detail and resilience is required as well as the ability to problem solve in a fast
moving environment.
Each SC Coordinator is responsible for multiple commercial teams or territories. He/She will be the key contact for their designated European
Branches, Distributors and third party contract manufacturers to ensure we achieve service level agreements. Each SC Coordinator has a
minimum of 2 direct markets and 8 indirect markets to manage.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Supply Management
· Collaborate with the branches (Country Manager & Marketing) to establish branch/team requirements
· Liaise with external customers to facilitate effective demand planning e.g. promotional activity, product launches
· Collaborate with Supply Chain Planner to Analyze and track historical data to maintain forecasts for nominated customers in the
ERP/order processing system
· Liaise with 3rd party contract manufacturers to ensure supply requirements are fulfilled
2. Stock Management
· Place orders for stock for the assigned warehouse(s) to ensure stock is available on time to meet customer demand.
· Monitor, control & provide recommendations on inventory /stock levels in the allocated warehouse (s) to minimize stock-outs and
maintain agreed service levels -
· Negotiate collection dates with forwarders - for collection of finished goods from 3rd party contract packers - to ensure stock is
available OTIF in the warehouse
3. Customer Service - As first point of contact for the assigned branches:
· Ensure supply and stock queries are resolved effectively
· Anticipate potential problems; implement corrective action to minimize re-occurrence in the future.
· Propose and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and deliver increased customer satisfaction.
4. Export Documentation Management & Administration
· Complete the export documentation and covering invoices to ensure shipment of goods OTIF · Work with Credit Control to track the status of payments for orders to distributor markets · Investigate and resolve invoice queries from Finance and the branches 5. Analysis, Reporting and KPI Tracking · Analyse data and produce monthly reports to supply chain management on agreed KPIs to summarise issues, current status, and resolution. E.g. stock churn and aged stock analysis. · Maintain and update tracking documents on a monthly basis · Analyse and re-format data to provide ad-hoc reports as required by management 6. Trouble Shooting and Problem Resolution · Deal with non-routine events and participate in initiatives to resolve short and medium-term supply issues
What You’ll Bring To The Role
· ‘A’ Level standard or equivalent education
· 3 - 5 years proven experience of working in supply chain/customer service role - ideally in a product- based industry - in one of the following functions: Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality or specifications. · Min of 2 years’ Experience of using ERP (or similar) systems .
